April Newsletter
Well it has been a long time coming but I sense Spring is in the air.
I am seeing people out with their rakes cleaning up after the winter. Spring bulbs are bravely poking out of the frozen earth to enjoy the warmth of the sun's rays.
...But.... the best sign that spring is here is the urge to get planting. As I write this I have several little trays of seedlings starting to show through in my sun room. I swore last year I wouldn't go the "sow your own seed route" again,as I was tired of losing my dining room and having it turned into a miniature nursery. However, I just couldn't wait to get outside so...as usual I have peppers, tomatoes and a few other plants I would like to get growing early.
If you are getting bitten by the gardening bug, why not think of joining us on our next garden workshop? We still have one more planned for the spring where we will be learning all kinds of neat things to help us enjoy another year in our gardens.
If you are from out of town we offer a full package complete with accommodation and meals.... or if you are local you are welcome to join us on a daily basis. This promises to be a weekend full of information and fun!
We have several more workshops planned for the fall covering a host of different subjects. There is something for everyone, even a special one for the kids. Book early and take advantage of our "early bird specials".
